Torbay Kindergarten Pedestrian Improvements

Overview

IPD were commissioned to undertake the pedestrian improvement design outside Torbay Kindergarten on Deep Creek Road, Torbay, in the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board area. The project complexities included bus route vehicle allowance, residential and kindergarten parking demand, pedestrian desire line, opposing vehicle crossings, steep downhill topography, relatively high vehicle speeds, and bus stop relocation.
